Kent Chesnay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Evaldas Kaupelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimé Ham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antanas Poška in the 35th minute of the match. If Kastytis Kerbedis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonas Girnius fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC COSA NOSTRA's protests and gave Jonas Girnius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, FC COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Girnius to maneuver through the defense. When Kastytis Kerbedis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC COSA NOSTRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kastytis Kerbedis couldn't finish the play. The FC COSA NOSTRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaldas Kaupelis should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC COSA NOSTRA's Algirdas Brazauskas got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Flames FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
