Aimé Ham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Makowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes, Carlos Kirby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flames FC and the Gocław Wilga Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Kirby hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Radowit Polkoski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aimé Ham but with some difficulty. 11 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Cisek came free, but Aimé Ham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Flames FC's Hal Chatman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaba Brysz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Emile Garrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Lavallée came free, but Barnaba Brysz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Radowit Polkoski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aimé Ham was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 21st play minute Kryspin Makowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aimé Ham. 1-1. Beau Hinojosa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, John Richards notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Barnaba Brysz. Barnaba Brysz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emile Garrett's late challenge caught a Gocław Wilga Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emile Garrett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile Garrett to maneuver through the defense. John Richards kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Kryspin Makowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aimé Ham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Kryspin Makowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aimé Ham could save by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Darin Nunn charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darin Nunn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Flames FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gocław Wilga Warszawa:s goal. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Gocław Wilga Warszawa. Radomir Piczak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aimé Ham. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Makowski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aimé Ham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aimé Ham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kryspin Makowski's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Pawel Niemojewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gocław Wilga Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Flames FC's zone, Kryspin Makowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimé Ham came out of the goal and Kryspin Makowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Makowski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aimé Ham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Beau Hinojosa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pawel Niemojewski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 98thth minute of the game Kryspin Makowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flames FC's Aimé Ham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Gocław Wilga Warszawa were the better team. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
