The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Varela made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Mete Gøl sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Mete Gøl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Afonso Maciel's late challenge caught a HollywooDogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Mete Gøl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 minutes, Rômulo Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ITAFUT 4EVER and the HollywooDogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Neves. Edgar Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 40th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ernesto Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Robinho Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ernesto Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mac Fly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Edgar Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HollywooDogs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
