Benjaminas Jasinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ole Lorentzen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC COSA NOSTRA's Adas Jančiulis. Adas Jančiulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC COSA NOSTRA's Adas Jančiulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgeir Gjermundsen in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Torgeir Gjermundsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgeir Gjermundsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adas Jančiulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, FC COSA NOSTRA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kyrre Holmefjord fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC COSA NOSTRA's Adas Jančiulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. Adas Jančiulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Lorentzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åge Undheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aidas Kareiva in the 26th minute of the match. Åge Undheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidas Kareiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Fabian Skogvold got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rimas Bacys struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Åge Undheim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC COSA NOSTRA. 34 minutes into the match, Jarūnas Abadauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åge Undheim. AEK FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarūnas Abadauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Adas Jančiulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atle Romundstad in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Ole Lorentzen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adas Jančiulis, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rimas Bacys in the 48th minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Åge Undheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgeir Gjermundsen was the one to do the kick off. After 60 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Benjaminas Jasinskas. 61 minutes into the match, FC COSA NOSTRA's goal looked a bit too open when Kyrre Holmefjord came free, but Adas Jančiulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steffen Skramstad charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Skramstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfas Baltrūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åge Undheim having to interfere. Rimas Bacys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Åge Undheim made a huge save. Åge Undheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rimas Bacys in the 72nd minute of play. Åge Undheim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. In the 85th minute, Aidas Kareiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, FC COSA NOSTRA's Aidas Kareiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åge Undheim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Torgeir Gjermundsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adas Jančiulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC COSA NOSTRA defense, Ole Lorentzen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adas Jančiulis. The FC COSA NOSTRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adas Jančiulis should have stopped the shot.
