In the 27th minute, Gaspar Magdaleno made a precise shot to the right of Gigio Buffon. HollywooDogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 30th minute, Mete Gøl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Belasko. The goal made the score 1-3. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Couto in the 36th minute of play. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, one of Galáctico Azul FC™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galáctico Azul FC™. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Porto in the 44th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfredo Xabel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galáctico Azul FC™'s protests and gave Alfredo Xabel a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Galáctico Azul FC™ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Vincent to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Bernabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gigio Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Generoso Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigio Buffon was a little too slow when Generoso Michael got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-4. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Jose Tiso was substituted for Maximo Cutberto. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Casimiro Ellande was substituted for Gaspar Magdaleno. Eulalio Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gigio Buffon made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Guillermo Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Sidnei Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Belasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ellande in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Galáctico Azul FC™ were awarded a corner. Alfredo Xabel went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Casimiro Ellande hit a great ball. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HollywooDogs! Victor Bernabel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 97 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Ellande. In the 97th minute of the game, Casimiro Ellande landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Recife during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th minute, Pedro Luiz Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galáctico Azul FC™ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
