Leo Perpinya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nunez Gelacio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Mirande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes of play, CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Melchor Mirande made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Perpinya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Bikendi in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Melchor Mirande notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cachiyuyo EAS's Leo Perpinya. Leo Perpinya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Angelo Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Honorio Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CORNUDOS Fútbol Club defense, Honorio Telesforo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Crescencio. The CORNUDOS Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Crescencio should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Cachiyuyo EAS's Honorio Telesforo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Crescencio. Angelo Crescencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Leo Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Sagrario in the 89th minute of play. When Hilario Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's protests and gave Hilario Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cachiyuyo EAS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CORNUDOS Fútbol Club.
