Carlos Sabin's late challenge caught a Lε COCO SρσяtiV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Sabin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lε COCO SρσяtiV booed when San Pablo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Tiniebra hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carlos Sabin made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Shen Xiang Chong however managed to control. Felipe Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Eutor. In the 39th minute, Felipe Ralondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lε COCO SρσяtiV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Maximo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Caitano in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Ralondo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Felipe Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Ralondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Pelayo came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Ralondo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 53rd minute. During the 56th minute of the match Carlos Sabin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Sabin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, Carlos Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Ralondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Henryk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Matia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lε COCO SρσяtiV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Camilo Rumaldo was slow to take the kick. During this time San Pablo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led San Pablo FC's Camilo Rumaldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Laureano Matia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 played minutes Lε COCO SρσяtiV got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Hernando. The Lε COCO SρσяtiV fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Felipe Ralondo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When San Pablo FC's Gerardo Lia in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded Lε COCO SρσяtiV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Pablo FC.
