In the 9th minute, Ren Jie Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. San Pablo FC's Camilo Rumaldo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dionisio Gonzo, made in the 12th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Ren Jie Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Pelayo was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Ren Jie Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Pelayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match GeRaÇãO-83 got a corner. San Pablo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when San Pablo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Ren Jie Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Maximo Pelayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ren Jie Fan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maximo Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GeRaÇãO-83. A collision led to San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Celso Galsino hit a great ball.
