Rômulo Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Billy Backman was slow to take the kick. During this time GeRaÇãO-83's players had a chance to rest. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Raulo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 33rd minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match GeRaÇãO-83 got a corner. Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Backman ran over to the corner to take the kick. 39 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Dieguinho Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Raulo. Romeo Raulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Balhikapungava Bonk got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GeRaÇãO-83 were winning 0-2.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nathanial Coppack got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Didi Couto hit a great ball. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Ren Jie Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sheldon Watt hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sheldon Watt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Billy Backman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ren Jie Fan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Ancelotti in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Carl Ancelotti put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Guilherme Veiga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ren Jie Fan got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Dieguinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chance Adams, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Vance Tidwell went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ren Jie Fan got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GeRaÇãO-83 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
