TurboUC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after TRIPITI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Lawrie took the corner. The corner led TurboUC's Thomas Lawrie to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilias Lianis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the TRIPITI FC defense, Miguel Ángel Riesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilias Lianis. The TRIPITI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilias Lianis should have stopped the shot. Miguel Ángel Riesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Miguel Ángel Riesco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilias Lianis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
