In the 23rd minute of the match Atlético Rovesco got a corner. TRIPITI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Fix ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atlético Rovesco's Leo Fix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ilias Lianis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Fragoulakis in the 26th minute of play. Ilias Lianis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Sengrat in the 28th minute of the match. Ilias Lianis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 江凡坚, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marios Fragoulakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilias Lianis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 江凡坚 went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Armando Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerios Neochoritis in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético Rovesco booed when TRIPITI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Ifantidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Atlético Rovesco fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Atlético Rovesco's 江凡坚 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the TRIPITI FC defense, 江凡坚 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilias Lianis. The TRIPITI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilias Lianis should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, TRIPITI FC's goal looked a bit too open when 江凡坚 came free, but Ilias Lianis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Lianis having to interfere.
