When Valter Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alemannia Aachen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Xabat couldn't finish the play. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 哥伦布 Tiger in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu got control of the ball when Thomas Müller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after AFC Nirosxn 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Kottsieper took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valter Xabat to make the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Nirosxn 08 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alemannia Aachen.
