After 4 minutes of play, FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jess Carnduff was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, İrfan Attar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jess Carnduff. Alemannia Aachen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İrfan Attar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sandu Vlaicu made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Valter Xabat sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Valter Xabat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valter Xabat got free with Sandu Vlaicu in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Müller in the 17th minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sandu Vlaicu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Manfred Kottsieper sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Kulabhusana Karabashlykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lisandro Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Urzicuța's protests and gave Lisandro Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Taurino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sandu Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If İrfan Attar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, İrfan Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Urzicuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but İrfan Attar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandu Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 44th minute of play. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kulabhusana Karabashlykov in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Xabat made a kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Valter Xabat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 55th minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Attar in the 65th minute of play. Jess Carnduff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kulabhusana Karabashlykov in the 67th minute. Sandu Vlaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Kottsieper in the 68th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Xabat came free, but Sandu Vlaicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Kottsieper in the 81st minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Bengt Rosenbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristi Chivu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 86 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jess Carnduff right hand side. 90 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İrfan Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
