When A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mateusz Rydel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Fyfe having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Alemannia Aachen got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Rydel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when King Scorpio made the kick off in the second half. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when King Scorpio came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, King Scorpio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A4p FC Gad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Gică Busuioc replaced James Batistuta. A4p FC Gad's Gez Mason was substituted for Erasmo Damião. In the 65th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Busuioc in the 66th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Alemannia Aachen defense, Dumitru Purcărete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jess Carnduff. The Alemannia Aachen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jess Carnduff should have stopped the shot. King Scorpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jess Carnduff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Busuioc came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 83rd minute of the match. King Scorpio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when King Scorpio came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Mason in the 91st minute of play. Alemannia Aachen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
