Máximo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 7th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Adelino Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Guang Chen in the 16th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Gol came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Portero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 18th minute of play. Dário Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oktay Eğriöz was the one to do the kick off. Ata Cante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Tepedino having to make a save. Dário Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ata Cante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal FC's zone, Ata Cante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Tepedino came out of the goal and Ata Cante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Cante in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Yu Guang Chen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Portero was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Ata Cante took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Tepedino. Dário Tepedino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. The Paso FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
