Yu Guang Chen scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Branislav Velchevski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. Barreal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Prosperi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Miguel Prosperi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dário Tepedino quite easily take care of the ball. Efrain Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Branislav Velchevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ben-Ami Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Branislav Velchevski. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben-Ami Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Dário Tepedino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dário Tepedino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elpidio Francis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Lope in the 44th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ben-Ami Gol to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Yu Guang Chen could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Branislav Velchevski however easily saved by the left post. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jairo Eneko was slow to take the kick. During this time Barreal FC's players had a chance to rest. 61 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's Efrain Lope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branislav Velchevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Gol came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski was a little too slow when Efrain Lope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-3. Efrain Lope struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Branislav Velchevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal FC. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when Ben-Ami Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Gabon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Barreal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
