The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Catalin Haldan getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Hallam in the 10th minute of play forced Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.J. 关平 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Melo in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Marin Lipets recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olavi Liib. Marin Lipets showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Larry Hallam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Olavi Liib made a huge save. A.J. 关平 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valder Gausbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Olavi Liib made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Larry Hallam sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Olavi Liib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valder Gausbo to make the kick off. Hilário Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Olavi Liib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Hilário Bento made a precise shot to the right of Olavi Liib. Catalin Haldan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Hilário Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Lipets came free, but Olavi Liib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Marin Lipets sped through Catalin Haldan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olavi Liib. Peter Telin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 关平 having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Vivant's Marin Lipets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavi Liib made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 87th minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavi Liib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Curea during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Catalin Haldan's Radu Curea got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes, Larry Hallam made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Clemente Cisneros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vivant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0.
