Eugen Morozan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Vaggelis Lalas made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goal looked a bit too open when Algirdas Radzevičius came free, but Olavi Liib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Botgros in the 15th minute of play. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 30th minute of play forced Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Morozan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Vaggelis Lalas made a huge save. When YELLOW FC's Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Avraam Sevastopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Olavi Liib made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Avraam Sevastopoulos sent off a good shot on target. When Tomáš Řehák came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the YELLOW FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomáš Řehák couldn't finish the play. After 56 played minutes Catalin Haldan got a freekick which was hit by Filip Scorţea. A hard shot 61 in the game by Avraam Sevastopoulos from a close distance when the talented Olavi Liib managed to make a qualified save. Catalin Haldan's players were relieved. In the 63rd minute, YELLOW FC's Paul Grosso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paul Grosso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of YELLOW FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Grosso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of YELLOW FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Catalin Haldan:s goal. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Catalin Haldan. Peter Telin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vaggelis Lalas. 2-4. Catalin Haldan's Olimpiu Pociu was substituted for Živko Dabović. In the 68th minute Valder Gausbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Lalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Scorţea during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olavi Liib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algirdas Radzevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Algirdas Radzevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. YELLOW FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Algirdas Radzevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavi Liib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Lalas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
