Algirdas Radzevičius scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Burdalski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cavia Pyskowice's zone, Algirdas Radzevičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomir Burdalski came out of the goal and Algirdas Radzevičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of YELLOW FC booed when FC Cavia Pyskowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Michalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC Cavia Pyskowice's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Sevastopoulos came free, but Radomir Burdalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hervé Trouche in the 23rd minute of play. Radomir Burdalski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avraam Sevastopoulos's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Radomir Burdalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Robos in the 35th minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Radomir Burdalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Cavia Pyskowice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jan-Olof Kämpe scored to the left of an out of position Radomir Burdalski, making the score, 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avraam Sevastopoulos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Řehák in the 51st minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Radomir Burdalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Radomir Burdalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Kazantzakos in the 78th minute of play. Algirdas Radzevičius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomir Burdalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Radomir Burdalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Algirdas Radzevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Burdalski was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. FC Cavia Pyskowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. YELLOW FC fully deserved thier win.
