Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Lipets in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Lalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivant were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after YELLOW FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Youri Van Der Talen took the corner. The corner led to Vivant's Clemente Cisneros getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Algirdas Radzevičius put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of A.J. 关平. Vaggelis Lalas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Vivant's Hilário Bento. But to his dismay, Hilário Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vaggelis Lalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilário Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Larry Hallam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vaggelis Lalas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Larry Hallam made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Bento in the 50th minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Hallam in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Vivant's Larry Hallam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Lalas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.J. 关平 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Řehák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YELLOW FC made a substitution. Spyros Kazantzakos replaced Tomáš Řehák. YELLOW FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Algirdas Radzevičius in the 60th minute. The corner led to YELLOW FC's Evripidis Zoubadellis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Bento in the 63rd minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Larry Hallam came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vivant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Hallam couldn't finish the play. Vivant's A.J. 关平 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Algirdas Radzevičius hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hilário Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Lipets. With a little luck, YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas got control of the ball when Marin Lipets tried to sneak it across the goal line. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilário Bento in the 83rd minute of play. Vaggelis Lalas had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hilário Bento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilário Bento in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Lalas saved YELLOW FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Larry Hallam put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. The supporters of Vivant booed when YELLOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Grosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilário Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes YELLOW FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Youri Van Der Talen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Firmin Mendialdura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vaggelis Lalas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Larry Hallam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The YELLOW FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vivant's performance. The match ended with a win for Vivant.
