In the 10th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Manzanal to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Jörgen Ström had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 吕政 during the 13th minute. Carlos Alberto Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Zafer Yalçıner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Redbull Sala's Thomas Falkrantz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stanislav Dvorskiy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thomas Falkrantz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zafer Yalçıner to make the kick off. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafer Yalçıner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Redbull Sala fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Redbull Sala:s David Lundgren showed great skill when he stopped 吕政:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, 吕政 did a trick in the 58th minute in front of Redbull Sala's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. Resistencia Tayrona FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Carlos Alberto Bezerra scored to the left of an out of position Stanislav Dvorskiy, making the score, 2-2. David Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafer Yalçıner in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Bezerra in the 71st minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Carlos Alberto Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbull Sala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ejvind Haversen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Redbull Sala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ejvind Haversen couldn't finish the play. David Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Alphan Alpaslan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redbull Sala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resistencia Tayrona FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Alphan Alpaslan. In the 82nd minute, Sydney Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Baiano in the 92nd minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alberto Bezerra hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Resistencia Tayrona FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
