The referee showed Jörgen Ström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Jörgen Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Evripidis Zoubadellis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Lundgren, 1-0. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Redbull Sala from getting a goal against them. After having played for 14 minutes, Thanasis Robos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YELLOW FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thanasis Robos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Algirdas Radzevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejvind Haversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Avraam Sevastopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Lundgren. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. David Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Řehák in the 27th minute. YELLOW FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Redbull Sala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomáš Řehák took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Redbull Sala's goalie and right to Thanasis Robos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Redbull Sala's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 31 minutes into the match, Ejvind Haversen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. YELLOW FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ejvind Haversen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Algirdas Radzevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avraam Sevastopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of David Lundgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Avraam Sevastopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, David Lundgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

YELLOW FC's Pavlos Kopitsis was substituted for Giannis Kourelas. The wind increased when Carlos Alberto Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Kopitsis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ejvind Haversen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vaggelis Lalas made a huge save. Alphan Alpaslan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Nils Helström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Nils Helström. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algirdas Radzevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avraam Sevastopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Redbull Sala's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Sevastopoulos came free, but David Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of YELLOW FC booed when Redbull Sala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphan Alpaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Spyros Kazantzakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 84thth minute of the game Spyros Kazantzakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbull Sala's David Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. YELLOW FC's Spyros Kazantzakos got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Spyros Kazantzakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 98 minutes into the match, Algirdas Radzevičius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Lundgren. Redbull Sala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Algirdas Radzevičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. YELLOW FC fully deserved thier win.
