The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hamburg's Ilkay Gündoğan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantin Joder. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. Constantin Joder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Apostel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, FC Hamburg's Jan Apostel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantin Joder. Constantin Joder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Alban Bolesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Linde in the 25th minute of play. Alban Bolesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Jüttner in the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, KIEZKICKER's Edwin Linde made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alban Bolesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Jan Apostel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 40 in the game by Enrique Prata from a close distance when the talented Constantin Joder managed to make a qualified save. KIEZKICKER's players were relieved. In the 41st minute Jan Apostel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Joder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Ilkay Gündoğan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Constantin Joder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The FC Hamburg fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Hamburg's Jan Apostel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th match minute, KIEZKICKER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Kallweit to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Apostel in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Joder saved KIEZKICKER from getting behind. Jan Apostel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Joder having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmar Tschauner during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elmar Tschauner hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Constantin Joder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Apostel went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Alban Bolesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Linde, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to KIEZKICKER getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dino Wolf hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Hamburg booed when KIEZKICKER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Joder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Apostel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hamburg were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after KIEZKICKER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hendrik Holletschek took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Eduard Hilpert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Constantin Joder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkay Gündoğan in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Enrique Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Joder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Apostel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Joder having to make a save. KIEZKICKER's Constantin Joder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Prata in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Hamburg were the better team. FC Hamburg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
