The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomb Raider FC's Eugênio Mazza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Claudinei Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantijn Schoovaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 played minutes Claudinei Linares rounded Tomb Raider FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Palmeira came free, but Emanuel Van Hoeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas De Smet kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to THANDERA® FCCMZ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eriberto Arósio hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Claudinei Linares put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of João Pedro Meirelles. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tomb Raider FC's goalkeeper João Pedro Meirelles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. THANDERA® FCCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lukas De Smet in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on THANDERA® FCCMZ's corner Lukas De Smet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Pedro Meirelles quite easily take care of the ball. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Salles. Emanuel Van Hoeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerônimo Salles in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão de Medeiros in the 67th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tomb Raider FC's zone, Claudinei Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro Meirelles came out of the goal and Claudinei Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Van Hoeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Meirelles was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The THANDERA® FCCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Paulo José da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. THANDERA® FCCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Pedro Meirelles didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. THANDERA® FCCMZ had won after a very even match.
