After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Betinho Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edson Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mías Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini got control of the ball when Franklin Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Panos Karkantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Damião in the 14th minute of play. Betinho Damião scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mías Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Panos Karkantos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Marin came out of the goal and Panos Karkantos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Franklin Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Christini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhang Xiang Han in the 25th minute of the match. Betinho Damião might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mías Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Damião ran back to his position shaking his head. Mías Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Titanes Mayas's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Damião came free, but Mías Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Damião in the 34th minute of play forced Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Mías Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mías Marin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Edson Futebol Clube's Betinho Damião. But to his dismay, Betinho Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini got control of the ball when Robert Bagge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Christini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Xiang Han, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Paul Christini made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zhang Xiang Han sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Souto. The Titanes Mayas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edson Futebol Clube were winning 0-2.

Titanes Mayas made a substitution. Mauro Incendio replaced Leo Crispo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Blai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Heleno de Freitas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mías Marin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mías Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Karkantos in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin got control of the ball when Panos Karkantos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Blai in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Damaski came free, but Paul Christini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titanes Mayas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Alim Karaman scored to the left of an out of position Mías Marin, making the score, 0-3. 78 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fontes notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin. Mías Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Yuri Manolev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Ernesto Fontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mías Marin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute Leopoldo Reneros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Christini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Edson Futebol Clube's Mías Marin threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Hulk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edson Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Titanes Mayas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tao Xing Yong took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Panos Karkantos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ruben Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Damaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Edson Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Titanes Mayas.
