João Pedro Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Lund went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's Pedro Luiz Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Sjö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ola Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute Ola Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Aírton Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomb Raider FC's João Pedro Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lund in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Palmeira came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Sjö made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Pedro Luiz Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Garsås IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luiz Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. João Pedro Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 52nd minute of play. Garsås IF were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Tomb Raider FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charlie Löfgren took the corner. The corner led to Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 56th minute, Ola Lund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Pedro Meirelles. The goal made the score 0-4. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantijn Schoovaerts in the 65th minute of play. Sven-Ove Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Garsås IF's Morgan Norberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aírton Nogueira, made in the 80th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goalkeeper João Pedro Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Lund. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tomb Raider FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tomb Raider FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
