After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Kryspin Zecman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportis SFC Baca's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Zecman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alban Bolesta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Prata got free with Teobald Bentkowski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jan Apostel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hamburg's zone, Kryspin Zecman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alban Bolesta came out of the goal and Kryspin Zecman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Zecman in the 40th minute of play. Alban Bolesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Xavier in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Gino Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Alban Bolesta. FC Hamburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 56th minute Kryspin Zecman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alban Bolesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Alban Bolesta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Jan Apostel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sportis SFC Baca's Teobald Bentkowski. Teobald Bentkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teobald Bentkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingolf Appenzeller, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hamburg from getting a goal against them.
