The Red Reign fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maximo Villamarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Van Hoeij having to make a save. In the 13th minute Claudinei Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lopez Portanares to maneuver through the defense. Dawid Ratulowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo José da Mata's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Paulo José da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dawid Ratulowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas De Smet in the 28th minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas De Smet, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Maximo Villamarin scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Van Hoeij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Linares came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Van Hoeij was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Maximo Villamarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximo Villamarin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 46th minute of the match Red Reign got a corner. THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavion Sorriva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Xavion Sorriva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Villamarin made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Claudinei Linares rounded Red Reign's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 57th minute of the match. Dawid Ratulowski made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Paulo José da Mata sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos de Lara came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas De Smet in the 62nd minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Linares in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo José da Mata got free with Dawid Ratulowski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute of the match Red Reign got a corner. THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavion Sorriva ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Red Reign's corner Xavion Sorriva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Van Hoeij quite easily take care of the ball. Cássio Marques hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Emanuel Van Hoeij came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin. But to his dismay, Maximo Villamarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Marquinhos de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Ratulowski having to interfere. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Linares in the 82nd minute. Carlos Casemiro's late challenge caught a THANDERA® FCCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Casemiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Carlos Casemiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes THANDERA® FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Marques. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Villamarin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Van Hoeij saved THANDERA® FCCMZ from getting behind. With 92 minutes on the clock, Eriberto Arósio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 92nd minute, one of THANDERA® FCCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for THANDERA® FCCMZ. The Red Reign players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
