Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Caminiaga from getting a goal against them. Leukothoe Sakelaris in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hemming Tjørnum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 11 in the game by Leukothoe Sakelaris from a close distance when the talented Hemming Tjørnum managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Caminiaga's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leukothoe Sakelaris in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hemming Tjørnum saved C.A. Caminiaga from getting behind. Rodolfo Txeru took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Balesio. Rosendo Balesio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match, Emiliano Aznaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hemming Tjørnum saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leukothoe Sakelaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Leukothoe Sakelaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemming Tjørnum having to interfere. Hemming Tjørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukothoe Sakelaris in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Guido Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leukothoe Sakelaris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Hemming Tjørnum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guido Ler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. After a rather tough play, AC Rangers's Crispin Grassow got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

AC Rangers made a substitution. Yücel Özakıncı replaced Guido Ler. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Frasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Balesio made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Victorino Frasco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to C.A. Caminiaga getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Horacio Ranolfo hit a great ball. After 58 minutes of play, AC Rangers's Yücel Özakıncı made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hemming Tjørnum was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Ubarna. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Delmar Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. C.A. Caminiaga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
