The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 7th minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Austen Farrow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cementerio Club's Austen Farrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Demario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Karlo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Austen Farrow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Gonzo in the 15th minute of play. Austen Farrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes Cementerio Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Wojciech Fiszer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 23 minutes, Antonio Benitez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cementerio Club and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Antonio Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austen Farrow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ivan Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santo Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Mario Sesuldo in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cementerio Club's Melchor Abancens. Austen Farrow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When Mario Sesuldo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC FUSION's protests and gave Mario Sesuldo a yellow card for diving instead. Mario Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Cementerio Club made a substitution. Benê Veiga replaced Saatxan Gentiletti. After 49 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Mario Sesuldo. After the first half AFC FUSION were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cementerio Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Txindoki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 90th minute Mari Balotelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austen Farrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Guido Txindoki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AFC FUSION's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
