In the 6th minute Aqil Mövsümov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beniamin Bendyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 16th minute. In the 21st match minute, FrenaHayBache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Academia 1903's Jeremias Ezkerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beniamin Bendyk. Beniamin Bendyk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benjamin Myhr hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Timoteo Columbo made the kick off in the second half. Beniamin Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 52nd minute of the match. Primo Speranza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Orti in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FrenaHayBache's zone, Timoteo Columbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beniamin Bendyk came out of the goal and Timoteo Columbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Harald Ek replaced Jeremias Ezkerra. In the 64th minute Leon Matthäus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Bendyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Matthäus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aqil Mövsümov came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FrenaHayBache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aqil Mövsümov couldn't finish the play. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aqil Mövsümov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FrenaHayBache's Alex Sobczyk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primo Speranza. That made the score 1-1 after 74 minutes of play. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when FrenaHayBache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksim Jeknić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beniamin Bendyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Matthäus in the 78th minute of play. Harald Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Leon Matthäus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Matthäus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Academia 1903's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
