Benny Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Raimond Lenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Idacio in the 10th minute of play. Angelo Rolado came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zacarias Ascencio could save by the left post. After 12 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Bochynski. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piratas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Rosio was slow to take the kick. During this time Celta de Virgos's players had a chance to rest. Benny Niva struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Raimond Lenk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celta de Virgos. After a rather tough play, Celta de Virgos's Bernardino Rosio got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piratas FC! Piratas FC:s Raimond Lenk showed great skill when he stopped Bernardino Rosio:s penalty. In the 22nd minute, Bernardino Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celta de Virgos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Niva in the 25th minute of play. Ruben Gomez made a great header on Celta de Virgos's corner, it was just that Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk managed to reach the ball for a save. Celta de Virgos were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Piratas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Rosio took the corner. Bernardino Rosio made a great header on Celta de Virgos's corner, it was just that Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Dündar Aynacıoğlu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benny Niva made a kick off. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Czeslaw Bochynski with Angelo Rolado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 56 minutes Celta de Virgos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Czeslaw Bochynski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Piratas FC's Czeslaw Bochynski to fire away a dangerous shot which Zacarias Ascencio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Astudillo in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raimond Lenk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. The Celta de Virgos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Celta de Virgos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
