In the 22nd minute Lisandro Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austen Farrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austen Farrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Penczkowski took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ken Urdal. Ken Urdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Cementerio Club getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luis Alberto Spinetta hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Haitz was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Veiga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Normando in the 85th minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Austen Farrow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Luis Alberto Spinetta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cementerio Club made a substitution. Santo Gonzo replaced Wlodzimierz Penczkowski. 92 minutes in the game Maximiliano Lluterio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rey Normando. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Lisandro Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
