Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eloy Gipuzkoa in the 10 minute of the game. Eloy Gipuzkoa got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nico Veit. Rafaela FC's Octavio Gonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 16th minute of the match. Rolando Jax hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Bolo Bolaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Rafaela FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fagildo Pamanes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Consejo del Mate's corner Fagildo Pamanes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inocencio Veronica quite easily take care of the ball. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Bolo Bolaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ubaldo Lluis hit a great ball. The throw-in from Eloy Gipuzkoa in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal. When Bolo Bolaño came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bolo Bolaño couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Santana came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Inocencio Veronica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Humberto Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vicente Santana made the kick off in the second half. Consejo del Mate's attentive Honorato Zambujal managed to snatch the ball when Eloy Gipuzkoa made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda was substituted for Vicente Santana. Eloy Gipuzkoa made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basilio Guillerme. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Eloy Gipuzkoa with Octavio Gonzo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 66th minute of the match Rafaela FC got a corner. Consejo del Mate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basilio Guillerme ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute, Bolo Bolaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes in the game Eloy Gipuzkoa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Basilio Guillerme. Peyo Fonelleda might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Veronica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peyo Fonelleda ran back to his position shaking his head. The Consejo del Mate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
