The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Gonsalvo to strike the kick off in the second half. Malteria Hudson FC's Benedicto Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 52nd minute of play. Benedicto Elixio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Malteria Hudson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Benedicto Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Malteria Hudson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Hector Machado in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal. In the 79thth minute of the game Bolo Bolaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malteria Hudson FC's Benedicto Elixio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes Malteria Hudson FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fagildo Pamanes who took care of the corner kick. Consejo del Mate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fagildo Pamanes in the 82nd minute. Fabian Cordairo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Orlando Gatti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 84 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Ervin Alla. Benedicto Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagildo Pamanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bolo Bolaño struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Benedicto Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. Benedicto Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Consejo del Mate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malteria Hudson FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
