A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Tiburcio Llorienzo with Angelino Gentza as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Svetlozar Karamihov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andries De Putter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes, Angelino Gentza made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. AFC United's Lei Bin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Andries De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Big Babousa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC United the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. When Anselmo Mero fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Big Babousa's protests and gave Anselmo Mero a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the game, one of Big Babousa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Andries De Putter notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov. Svetlozar Karamihov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zeng Sang Chao hit a great ball. AFC United's Fryderyk Maurycy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dario Costante, made in the 34th minute of the game. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bladi in the 38th minute of play. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Angelino Gentza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Big Babousa's Tiburcio Llorienzo got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Tiburcio Llorienzo off the ground. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tiburcio Llorienzo hit a great ball. The Big Babousa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC United were winning 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ysmael Tagle was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Andries De Putter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svetlozar Karamihov came out of the goal and Andries De Putter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svetlozar Karamihov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Svetlozar Karamihov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gandalf Thunderchief to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th play minute Andries De Putter came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Svetlozar Karamihov. 1-4. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Şenel Volkan. Peru Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Faustino Asprilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Svetlozar Karamihov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peru Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Faustino Asprilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svetlozar Karamihov. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetlozar Karamihov should have stopped the shot. Gandalf Thunderchief hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Faustino Asprilla came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Asprilla couldn't finish the play. Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Big Babousa from getting a goal against them. Faustino Asprilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Svetlozar Karamihov made a huge save. Svetlozar Karamihov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of AFC United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Big Babousa had held the ball for most of the match.
