The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Guido Ler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rosendo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, AC Rangers's Leukothoe Sakelaris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fábio Leite. Luiz Fábio Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Dantas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Ciro Guifre from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Luiz Fábio Leite's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 19th minute of play. Emiliano Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Rangers! Nildo Dantas's late challenge caught a AC Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nildo Dantas hit a great ball. The long shot by Ezequiel Ilazki in the 30th minute really tested Luiz Fábio Leite's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Aznaro in the 31st minute of play. Rosendo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC Rangers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Salvador Ubarna hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Rosendo Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 56th minute of the match. AC Rangers made a substitution. Armando Sotero replaced Leukothoe Sakelaris. Luiz Fábio Leite came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Rangers's Emiliano Aznaro. But to his dismay, Emiliano Aznaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Nildo Dantas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Sotero in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Armando Sotero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute of the game Fabricio Quexal made a throw-in which Armando Sotero played forward. İlkan Lefter hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Sotero in the 75th minute of play. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Sotero in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Rangers's zone, Bin Shevchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Balesio came out of the goal and Bin Shevchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas-Ignacio Lugano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Nildo Dantas got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Ezequiel Ilazki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Leite skillfully saved the ball. AC Rangers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
