With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txatxu saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. Anibal Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Leroyer came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 23rd minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Q. T. I.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopoldo Rosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner Mariano Silbestre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Txatxu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Rosa's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Buckner in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Leroyer in the 36th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Buckner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Txatxu. That made the score 1-3 after 74 minutes of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Anibal Lluques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Q. T. I.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Lluques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 86th minute of the match. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dep Colonia Avellaneda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
