The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darryl Buckner to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ahmet Baki Tecimer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the La Maquina 9-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. Albert Gaardahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
