With a little luck, Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon got control of the ball when Otto Copperfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atahan Balon made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Michaël Myers sent off a good shot on target. Bonifacio Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michaël Myers in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Azulgranas AFC's Bonifacio Senon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Brion in the 22nd minute of play. Flavio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Atahan Balon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radomir Naskrent showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Atahan Balon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Copperfield in the 28th minute. The supporters of Azulgranas AFC booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Márcico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Márcico to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michaël Myers in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th match minute, Azulgranas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Méndez to maneuver through the defense. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michaël Myers in the 61st minute of play. Michaël Myers struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Atahan Balon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azulgranas AFC. Ricardo-Enrique Bochini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Los Muchachos del 86's Bonifacio Senon threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Brion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michaël Myers's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Babbis Boukouvalas made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Albino Peruanton. 82 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Bencivenni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Honesto in the 86th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atahan Balon came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Azulgranas AFC's Otto Copperfield. But to his dismay, Otto Copperfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute of the match, Fabio Bencivenni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bonifacio Senon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bonifacio Senon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azulgranas AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Muchachos del 86 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
