In the 5th minute, Victor Korthsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andries De Putter in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Vimaro saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 11th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the game Igor Ignazio made a throw-in which Bastien Domenge played forward. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 16th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Gaardahl in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lei Bin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jose Vimaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andries De Putter went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Albert Gaardahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Lei Bin made a huge save. Jose Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Vintilă Arnăutu got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 31st minute of play. Lei Bin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Gaardahl in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andries De Putter in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute AFC United were awarded a corner. Jordi Scherz went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 45th minute of the match Jordi Scherz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Vimaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andries De Putter made a kick off. AFC United's Fryderyk Maurycy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Victor Korthsen, made in the 50th minute of the game. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Vimaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC United's zone, Albert Gaardahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lei Bin came out of the goal and Albert Gaardahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Andries De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Peru Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 69th minute of play. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 71st minute of the match. Peru Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jose Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the AFC United defense, Carmelo Vachon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lei Bin. The AFC United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lei Bin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Bilintx Trilla got a free kick in the 82nd minute. La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Vimaro came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Andries De Putter. But to his dismay, Andries De Putter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 90th minute of the match Zeng Sang Chao sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Vimaro skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over AFC United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Maquina 9-12-18 throughout the match.
