Jonas Henrico struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Rodrigo Massó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Q. T. I.. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. If Anibal Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Anibal Lluques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Massó. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Massó should have stopped the shot. Paulo Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Salvino in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Lluques to maneuver through the defense.

Higinio Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Julian Raymundo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 60th minute of the match. Silvano Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lisandro Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Q. T. I.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Massó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Q. T. I. were furious when Lisandro Abeita was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Q. T. I.! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Q. T. I. fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLUMIN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
