Fabricius Jehle hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Chancy Olympique's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Asmundsson came free, but Lorenzo Staldegger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Vladimir Weyermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chancy Olympique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Weyermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Ola Gustafsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the spikarna and the Chancy Olympique players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tin Vogler charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tin Vogler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of spikarna booed when Chancy Olympique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tin Vogler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Torgny Askelöf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Staldegger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Sten Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Staldegger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Sven-Erik Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Staldegger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Sten Asmundsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lorenzo Staldegger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Staldegger came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Sven-Erik Blomkvist. But to his dismay, Sven-Erik Blomkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

If Torgny Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Asmundsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Staldegger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Blomkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Staldegger, 0-5. When spikarna's Sven-Erik Blomkvist in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chancy Olympique's Lorenzo Staldegger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Blomkvist in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Sten Asmundsson lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Lorenzo Staldegger. In the 86th minute, Olcay Orkun Türcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The spikarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bengt-Rune Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. spikarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Ennegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Staldegger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Weyermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. spikarna played a much better game than Chancy Olympique and deserved their victory. The Chancy Olympique players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
