In the 13thth minute of the game Jorginho Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorginho Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Jorginho Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Jorginho Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lázaro Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorginho Soares scored 1-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Jeraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Kinsen was the one to do the kick off. Jorginho Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldinho de Amarals short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Lázaro Jeraldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the game, Nicasio Felo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Titanes Mayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Titanes Mayas's Nicasio Felo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Rolando Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Soares in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lázaro Jeraldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorginho Soaress short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Lázaro Jeraldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 82 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Dino de Toledo. Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Titanes Mayas from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Soares in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Porto. Jorginho Soares took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Jeraldo. Lázaro Jeraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7.
