Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Madureira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Kosmidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Fábio Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Kosmidis. AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fábio Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
