In the 5th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Santana to maneuver through the defense. Jorginho Soares scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Hernan Scalarandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mapovihesa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Scalarandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play, Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Gualter Campidelis got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper David Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Abascal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jorginho Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Scalarandi got free with David Godoi in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Abascal in the 37th minute of play. Internazionale-RS's Ronaldinho de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play, Internazionale-RS's Ronaldinho de Amaral made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severiano Abascal to make the kick off. David Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Scalarandi went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. David Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Luís Fernando Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hernan Scalarandi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Anderson Porto got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Internazionale-RS's Bruno Santana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genaro Osoro. Genaro Osoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Jorginho Soares scored 1-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
