The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Quiroga F.C.'s Edinho Terra got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Cunha in the 6th minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Genaro Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mapovihesa FC's zone, Ana Da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Osoro came out of the goal and Ana Da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elivélton Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Genaro Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Abascal didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 28th minute. Mapovihesa FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Hernan Scalarandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Luís Fabiano Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pate Siqueira. The long shot by Severiano Herena in the 38th minute really tested Dadá Massa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Dadá Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Severiano Abascal made the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Dadá Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Scalarandi in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Hernan Scalarandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Quiroga F.C. defense, Severiano Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Massa. The Quiroga F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Massa should have stopped the shot. Severiano Abascal succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The Mapovihesa FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Mapovihesa FC's Hernan Scalarandi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Amauri Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Osoro. That made the score 4-1 in the 76 minute of play. Elivélton Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruno Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Garaile in the 90th minute of play forced Quiroga F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadá Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Augusto Custódio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Dadá Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Garaile in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mapovihesa FC had won after a very even match.
