Dionisio Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anastasio Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 27 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Burutzagi. In the 28th minute Dionisio Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Globalización's Charles Spurgeon got a free kick in the 29th minute. Anastasio Eguerdi came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Globalización's Dionisio Guter. But to his dismay, Dionisio Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anastasio Eguerdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Guter in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Dionisio Guter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Globalización fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Globalización's Edelmiro Reno got a free kick in the 47th minute. Globalización's Dante Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esquipula Bouzon in the 50th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Guter was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Delmar Lapurdi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dionisio Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Eguerdi having to interfere. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Benigno Fiz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DeportivoIndependienteMDP's zone, Dionisio Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Eguerdi came out of the goal and Dionisio Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Esquipula Bouzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Nicolas Demario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Frascuelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Globalización made a substitution. Ruperto Bingen replaced Juan Txilar. 79 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Esquipula Bouzon came free, but Dante Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dante Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Urbasas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Anastasio Eguerdi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 85 minutes of play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Nicolas Demario made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Frascuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Gregorio Urbes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Globalización the free kick. In the 88th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Urbes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Francisco Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Globalización's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Ospin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Demario came free, but Dante Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
