Lalo Rosas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Rogerio Rocafort sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremy Nicholas skillfully saved the ball. Robustiano Sesuldo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Edgardo Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Robustiano Sesuldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Silva's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Silva in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Damian’s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Piedrahita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28th play minutes Edgardo Silva shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Robustiano Sesuldo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st play minute Edgardo Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robustiano Sesuldo. 4-0. Damian’s Team's Robustiano Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Boix in the 45th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Traslago was the one to do the kick off. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Sesuldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robustiano Sesuldo having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Damian’s Team's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Robustiano Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Boix in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Tio Lio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Sesuldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glen Conklin made a great header on New England Minas's corner, it was just that Damian’s Team's Robustiano Sesuldo managed to reach the ball for a save. Tio Lio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Sesuldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Damian’s Team getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Suscal Urquiaga hit a great ball. When New England Minas's Tio Lio in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Damian’s Team's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Tio Lio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Sesuldo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Tio Lio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Sesuldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremy Nicholas was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Martin Boix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Boix really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. In the 89th minute, Tio Lio made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Sesuldo. Damian’s Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New England Minas had won after a very even match.
