Santo Traslago started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lunáticos getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hortêncio Cruz hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Sesuldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Wilian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Lopez in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Sesuldo saved Damian’s Team from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Wilian Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunáticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Wilian Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Sesuldo. Damian’s Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robustiano Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Paranaense in the 23rd minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Wilian Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robustiano Sesuldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lunáticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Piedrahita was slow to take the kick. During this time Damian’s Team's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Martin Boix heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Damian’s Team's Robustiano Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Filletti in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Damian’s Team booed when Lunáticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lunáticos getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hortêncio Cruz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Wilian Lopez made the kick off in the second half. Lunáticos were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Damian’s Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Gustavo Romero took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Gustavo Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robustiano Sesuldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dennis Rechnitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Boix in the 65th minute of play. Damian’s Team's Suscal Urquiaga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zé Pedro Cearense in the 66 minute of the game. Wilian Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Robustiano Sesuldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Damian’s Team booed when Lunáticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Traslago in the 73rd minute of play forced Lunáticos's goalkeeper Dennis Rechnitzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Edgar Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
